Our Mission, Vision & Values

Jewels of Hope is a social enterprise based in the Okanagan that empowers vulnerable and marginalized women by offering a safe space to create jewelry and build community.

Participants, including women facing homelessness, disabilities, addictions, or other vulnerabilities, are paid an honorarium for each piece they craft.

The jewelry is sold online, at local markets, and in stores, with all revenue reinvested into programs that support these women, helping them rebuild their lives and futures.

MISSION

To support marginalized, exploited women in their journey to realizing their own dreams to a safe and healthy life.

VISION

That all women would have access to skill-building opportunities which in turn creates the context to build capacity and support their journey to realizing their own dreams to a safe and healthy life.

VALUES

Our mission stems from the belief that when marginalized women are unsafe, the fabric of our society is weakened. We are dedicated to providing artisanal skill training, empowering women to embark on a personal journey toward a secure and healthy life. We aim to foster an environment built on care, trust, and respect, while raising community awareness and collaborating with agencies that have the power to make a difference.
